IMMORTELLE
IMMORTELLE
IMMORTELLE is an exciting showcase of the eponymous flower’s versatile beauty. Also known as “everlasting”, its yellow floral clusters have been growing wild in Greece for thousands of years, cherished for their enduring beauty and healing properties. Ancient Greeks offered everlasting wreaths to the gods, while its resilient, radiant floralcy became the stuff of legend. Myth has it that Trojan Prince Paris declared his love for beautiful Helen, the Queen of Sparta, by referencing the immortelle: “Do you not see this flower? Your hair shares the same golden colour, your body resembles its stem, and your skin is as soft as its petals. Your beauty will be equally everlasting.”
Manos Gerakinis envisioned a gourmand halo around the fragrance’s star ingredient: crowned by delicious notes (brown sugar, milk), delectable spices (cinnamon, clove), and resinous/earthy elements (benzoin, patchouli, sandalwood), immortelle’s inherent honey, tea, and tobacco nuances shine in a highly addictive, yet utterly sophisticated, composition.
